Secretarial & advisory services
The experience of an independent trustee can also be harnessed by trustee boards in other ways
Some trustee boards may find themselves in a position where they are not ready, or are unable, to appoint an independent trustee but are in need of more specialist skills and experience when running their schemes.
Our well-established and robust governance structures are ideally suited to provide support and assistance to trustees managing their pension schemes. We have spent many years developing and refining these procedures and are proud of the results.
Robust scheme governance
Our experienced team can draw on a wealth of knowledge and resources to provide scheme secretarial & advisory services to trustees who wish to review their governance structures.
We are happy to take appointments as secretary to a trustee board. In this capacity Entrust assumes a formal ongoing role in the management of trustee business, co-ordinating advisers, managing meetings, preparing minutes and directing the implementation of trustee decisions.
We also offer services to trustee boards on a project basis to carry out governance reviews. These services can be provided to suit the circumstances of individual schemes and, for example, can range from a review of trustee governance and decision making to a review of an individual service provider.
In either case, trustees benefit from the knowledge that their scheme is receiving a bespoke service, underpinned by more than twenty years of professional trustee experience. All of our secretarial & advisory services are overseen by an experienced Scheme Director, so every scheme benefits from the same knowledge and experience as they would if Entrust was formally appointed as trustee.
